The Santa Barbara High School Madrigal Singers have been extended a special invitation to perform in France and England in June 2013. Known for their musical excellence, the Madrigals of previous years have performed at Chartres Cathedral, Clare College Chapel at Cambridge University, Ely Cathedral, Le Madeleine, and Notre Dame in Paris and other historical sites. Throughout this year’s tour, the Madrigal Singers will have the opportunity to see and perform in the settings for which great choral music was composed. As cultural ambassadors, they will reach out in song to English and French audiences, uniting people through the magic of their music.
